Andrey is a Hong Kong resident and is based in Hong Kong full time. He is a leading expert in the field of international arbitration in Russia, with vast experience in complex cross-border disputes. For his almost 20 years in private practice, Andrey has specialised in complicated commercial and corporate disputes in Russia and elsewhere, representing clients in domestic litigation and arbitration, as well as international arbitration, and has also advised on various disputes in foreign jurisdictions.

From 2016 to 2019, he headed the Russian Arbitration Centre (RAC) at the Russian Institute of Modern Arbitration. Under Andrey’s leadership, the RAC has developed one of the world’s best sets of arbitration rules, attracted 350+ of the best Russian and foreign arbitrators, opened three regional offices and gained a reputation as a professional arbitration institution, both in Russia and elsewhere. Before 2016, Andrey worked for leading international and Russian law firms.

Andrey has experience of representing clients at the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre and providing advice on various matters related to Hong Kong as a seat of arbitration and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards in Mainland China and Hong Kong. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb).

Khristofor is the founding and name partner of Ivanyan and Partners. For 25+ years, he has specialised in Russian and cross-border commercial disputes, Public International Law issues, as well as major M&A transactions.

He advises clients on complex corporate conflicts and transactions, plus shareholder disputes, developing judicial defence strategies in Russian and foreign courts. In particular, on numerous occasions he has participated as strategist and chief trial counsel in transborder commercial litigation involving insolvency, corporate fraud, asset tracing and freezing/recovery.

For almost 20 years, Mark has been advising corporate clients on Russian and international taxation aspects of their investment projects. For the last nine years, Mark has also specialised in economic sanctions and compliance matters, in which he has gained unique expertise and experience.
